My Ideal Clients

Who do I work with? Why do I specialize in working with women with fibromyalgia who are generally 50 years old and better

While I am confident that I can help almost anyone with fibromyalgia discover ways to feel better, I have found that I work particularly well with women in this age group.

Often when a woman with fibromyalgia reaches her 50’s or 60’s she is finally in a place in life when she has the time and resources to make her own health a priority.

Often, over her lifetime she has placed the needs of others ahead of her own and now she realizes that she is experiencing an escalation of her symptoms or she is stalled and not making any progress. She is worried she is losing ground in managing her symptoms

She is clear that there is still a lot of life ahead of her and she wants to be a full participant in all her life has to offer.  She is ready to open a new chapter in her life and realizes she needs to make some changes but she is not sure where to start.

I get that because I am now in my 60’s and I am determined to be as healthy as I can be while managing fibromyalgia and to show up for my life with gratitude and enthusiasm.

I have found that my ideal client, at her best, often has a combination of the following characteristics:

    • She is positive, perceptive, proactive, open minded, curious and willing to try new things.
    • She doesn’t like to call attention to her illness preferring to focus on the things she can do rather than the things she can’t.
    • She has a deep and committed faith and/or spirituality and a strong sense of purpose.
    • She has lots of creative interests, loves beauty and has hobbies that include writing, painting, making music, quilting, sewing, gourmet cooking, gardening and making beautiful things.
    • She is a caring person and may have worked, or continues to work or volunteer in service-oriented jobs such as teaching, nursing, healthcare, counseling, ministry or non-profit organizations.
    • She has a deep empathy for those who are struggling and strives to be of service.
    • She loves to travel and have adventures.
    • She enjoys walking, hiking, biking, swimming, warm water stretching.
    • She is willing to go deep, yet doesn’t take herself too seriously and loves to laugh.
    • She is a reader, focused, appreciative and loves to learn.
    • She prioritizes her relationships with family, friends, colleagues and pets.
    • She may have a history of significant grief, loss and traumatic stress that has resulted in great compassion for others.
    • She is committed to turn surviving into thriving.
    • She wonders if fibromyalgia coaching could help her feel better. She is uncertain but hopeful as she schedules a Fibromyalgia Wellness Breakthrough Session.
    • She is a courageous Fibro Warrior!
